Alchemy client, Biodental Remin is close to finalising discussions for the sale of large quantities of its Anticay tooth remineralising ingredient to a leading pharmaceutical company. Based on technical and marketing considerations, the potential customer has made an in principle decision to proceed with the use of Anticay in a range of oral health products.
At the request of the customer, a meeting to finalise negotiations over pricing & regulatory issues willtake place in December. An Asian location has been chosen as a matter of mutual convenience. The meeting will also be attended by representatives of Group Pharmaceuticals Ltd, BDR’s previously announced manufacturing partners in India.
Tim Erskine-Smith, MD of Biodental Remin, said “A number of large multinational companies have successfully tested Anticay. This has resulted in considerable interest and willingness to negotiate commercial arrangements. The closing of negotiations with these two companies reinforces the need for us to increase production capacity at the Macksville site in order to meet the rising demand for Anticay. Building works to allow increased manufacturing capacity are already under way.”
